PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit labor for setting the position of a substrate holding pin in order to avoid a part mounting place when the substrate having a part mounted on the undersurface thereof is held by the substrate holding pin. SOLUTION: The cream solder printing apparatus is equipped with a feed belt 6 for feeding the substrate 10 to be printed to a printing part 4, a substrate holding mechanism 7 for holding the substrate 10 to a predetermined height and a mask holding mechanism 9. The substrate holding mechanism 7 is provided with a plurality of the substrate holding pins 8 independently movable up and down and substrate holding members 11a and 11b for holding the outer peripheral part of the substrate 10. Each of the substrate holding pins 8 is equipped with a lock mechanism 36 for holding the substrate holding pins 8 at a predetermined position and a moving mechanism for moving the substrate holding pins 8 in such a state that the lock mechanism 36 is released.
