PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic halogen compound decomposition device which stably generates water vapor. SOLUTION: In this organic halogen compound decomposition device which is provided with a water vapor generator 18 in which, water vapor generated in the water generator 18 is reacted with organic halogen compound and the organic halogen compound is decomposed, the water vapor generator 18 is provided with a water vapor pipe 34b as a passage where water is gasified in the course that the water flows, a heater 88 which is disposed alongside of the water vapor pipe 34b and a throttling means 90 which is disposed on the outlet side of the water vapor pipe 34b and throttles the water vapor ejected from the water vapor pipe 34b.
