PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a member for an ink-jet printer, with a part of a plastic base member and an elastic material layer provided integrally as a composite. SOLUTION: According to a production method for a member for an ink-jet printer for providing a part of the base member and the elastic material layer as a composite by either of (1) multi-color injection molding by melting and injecting a plastic base member material and an elastic material made of a thermoplastic elastomer successively into a mold, and (2) insert molding by preliminarily placing a plastic base member of a predetermined shape in a mold, and melting and injecting an elastic material made of a thermoplastic elastomer thereto. |
