PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply ink with a small density difference even when the ink settles. SOLUTION: An absorber 102 which can be impregnated with and hold the ink 106 is stored in a storage chamber 114 of a container 101. An ink lead-out part 109 for leading out the ink 106 from the absorber 102 to the outside is formed to a side face 110 which has a primary face in a direction nearly parallel to a gravity direction g. A channel 104 connected via a communication part 113 to a recording head not illustrated is set to the ink lead-out part 109. A height h1 from a bottom face 111 to the communication part 113 is set within a range of 30-70% of a height h2 of the absorber 102. |
