PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone generation type deodorizing, disinfectant foot rest having versatility for general household purposes. SOLUTION: The deodorizing, disinfectant foot rest has a space covered forward for inserting the tip of feet with its peripheral edge surrounded by a peripheral edge member and forms a foot rest body with its side having a shoe-shape. On the upper part within the cover a divided district having a vent communicating with the space is formed, within the divided district an ozone generating device having an ultraviolet lamp and the control substrate thereof are housed and the deodorizing, disinfectant foot rest is structured so that the generated ozone flows into the space from the vent to fill up the entirety of the base of the foot rest. On the upper surface of the base a number of verrucose protrusions or air grooves running lengthwise and crosswise are formed, or a wavy form is made for further fitting the leading end of the protruded group or the upper surface of the air grooves formed with the sole of the feet. In addition, a heater is installed on the base.
