PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining place for a pot lid, a spoon, and cooking chopsticks temporarily not used during cooking. SOLUTION: This pot lid retainer has a handle for bringing up the pot lid and a clip for a pot body, which are connected by a flexible pipe to enable the pot lid to be opened/closed above the pot body by gripping up/down the handle. The retainer also has a retaining case against which a spoon and cooking chopsticks are leaned.
