PURPOSE: A small base station apparatus of a CDMA mobile communication system is provided to reduce a size of a BTS(Base station Transceiver Sub-system) and produce it at a low cost by using a high power amplifier and a channel filter or a transmission band pass filter at a radio transmitter. CONSTITUTION: A radio receiver(31) includes two DNCs(Down-converters)(35) for receiving a radio radiated by a multipath from a CDMA mobile terminal by a space diversity, low-noise amplifying it through two reception paths, and down-converting it. A radio transmitter(41) includes a UPC(Up-converter) for receiving an intermediate frequency band signal and up-converting it into an RF(Radio Frequency) signal of the corresponding band, an HPA(High Power Amplifier)(43) for amplifying power of an applied signal to high power, a TBPF(Transmission Band Pass Filter)(44) for passing only a 1,232MHz band signal of a corresponding radio frequency, and an omni-directional 1FA/Omni transmission antenna(46) for radiating the corresponding RF signal to a mobile terminal through one channel. A monitoring unit(51) includes an RBTU(52) for monitoring a reception function of a reception band pass filter(33), a splitter(45) for splitting a portion of a transmission signal, and a TBTU(53) for monitoring a transmission function of the splitter(45).
