PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray for housing tangible commodities, which allows itself, when stacked in layers, to be surely taken out one by one without requiring any special equipment, and which is capable of preventing damage to the housed tangible commodities without causing any load to be applied thereto, and to provide a method of using the tray. SOLUTION: In the tray for housing tangible commodities provided with protruded and recessed forms on the surfaces thereof, with the protrusions on the back face thereof reflecting the recesses on the face and the recesses on the back face reflecting the protrusions on the face thereof, the tray comprises means for releasing negative pressure. One form of the negative pressure releasing means is to apply adhesive tape so that it spans a plurality of the protrusions on the back face. |
