<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for controlling a bladder outside diameter in a tire production process by which a stable turnup of a tire constituent material is made possible and a vulcanized tire can be improved in its uniformity. SOLUTION: Outside diameter measurement detection sensors 10A, 10B of the turnup bladders 6a, 6b are set to detect the outside diameter of the turnup bladders 6a, 6b. The outside diameter measurement detection sensors 10A, 10B are connected to a comparison computing device 13 provided with a bladder outside diameter management device 12 via displacement computing devices 11a, 11b so that measured analog values are outputted to the comparison computing device 13. The bladder outside diameter management device 12 outputs the bladder outside diameter information which is managed for each tire size to the comparison computing device 13. The supply ports of one pair of left and right turnup bladders 6a, 6b are connected to the supply source 14 of a bladder expansion medium Q such as air or the like via supply means 17a, 17b comprising an electro-pneumatic converter pressure-reducing valve 15a, 15b and switching valves 16a, 16b or the like.</p> |
