PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supervisory system that can provide a composited image for the assistance to complicated drive operations to a driver and that can allow the driver to able to drive his/her automobile at ease by having only to view the composited image. SOLUTION: The supervisory system uses an image picked up by a camera installed in a vehicle to display the inverted image with an angular visual field of 180-degrees to the left and the right of the vehicle behind the vehicle. Furthermore, the system displays a drive locus 41 at backward movement of one's own vehicle while being superimposed on the image (a). Moreover, the system displays a magnified image of a remote area 43 on a sub window 44 (b) and displays auxiliary lines 45, 46, 47 indicating distances from the vehicle while being superimposed on the picked-up image (c). |
