PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method of silica-containing geothermal water with which silica-containing geothermal water is efficiently treated and the treated water which is low in silica concentration can be obtained. SOLUTION: Nitrogen-containing cation compound shown by formula (1) is supplied to the silica-containing geothermal water by using a flocculant supplying part 2, silica in the geothermal water is flocculated, at the same time, gas is supplied into the geothermal water by using a gas supplying section 3 and the flocculated material is subjected to floatation separation in a floatation tank 5 by the gas.
