PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bubble generator which can be used corresponding to different uses and easily generate a desired condition of bubble quality. SOLUTION: This bubble generator is equipped with a tank 2 in which detergent liquid 1 is stored, a blower part 3 set under the tank 2, and an air passage 4 through which air is sent into the detergent liquid 1 in the tank 2 from the blower part 3. The detergent liquid 1 is retained up to intermediate height in the tank 2 to make a space above the detergent liquid a bubble retaining space 5. Bubbles 7 generated by blowing air into the detergent liquid 1 from the tip end delivery part 6 of the air passage 4 are fully filled in the bubble retaining space part 5. A bubble blowing-out part 8 to blow out bubbles 7 is equipped above the tank 2. An air rate control means A to control the rate of air blown into the detergent liquid 1 is equipped on the bubble generator.
