METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF EARLY-PHASE RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS OF ANIMAL AND METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic method through imaging having a high therepeutic effect on an early-phase rheumatiod arthritis in animals in a state where their articular cartilage and bone absorption cannot be observed, and a method for treating such conditions. SOLUTION: The disclosed diagnostic method and the method for medical operation therefor comprise the following processes; a process for screening para-articular regions suspected for a specific clinical symptom in an X-ray examination to detect whether it is positive or negative in a bone-mass-reducing- condition or osteoporosis; a process in which intra-articular pannus is extracted through Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) examination after the detection of abnormality in the para-articular regions exhibiting mingled imaging of blurred images of normal bone mass and enhanced images of existing normal bone mass as a result of the foregoing screening process; a process in which gadolinium is administered intravenously at 0.01-1.0 ml/kg; a process in which intra-articular fat regions are removed by a stirring method and a process in which the imaging of the presence or absence of the pannus is conducted.
