The roof tile holding system has trough-shaped tiles (1) resting on laths (2). The tiles are prevented from slipping down the roof by projections (3) on their convex undersides, which hook over the laths. There are further projections (4) near the lower end of each tile. The projections have longitudinal bores (5,6) which accommodate a wire of circular cross-section with straight ends and a joggle in the middle, which holds longitudinally adjacent tiles together. |
