PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supporting traveling which enables the sufficient recognition of a termination of support for a driving operation and prevents inconveniences accompanied by the termination of support. SOLUTION: The device for supporting traveling which supports the driving operation of a driver by setting for support for the driver who drives a vehicle informs the termination of support when a condition for the termination of support of the driving operation is met (S16). The device for supporting traveling determines whether or not the driver recognizes the termination of support based on a prescribed operation by the driver (S18) and promotes the recognition of the termination of support when the driver is determined not to recognize the termination of support (S20). Thus, the driver is surely made to recognize the termination of support for driving and the inconveniences such as delay in the driving operation when the support is terminated are prevented. |
