PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a green sheet, which makes 'cissing' hard to cause and allows the green sheet of unique thickness to be manufactured, even in the use of low-viscosity water-based slurry. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for the green sheet, after the water-based slurry, in which a ceramic powder is dispersed in water, is applied onto a supported film 10 in which side tapes 12 are placed on both ends, a layer 14 coated with the water-based slurry is dried so that the green sheet can be formed on the supported film 10. A contact angle of a surface of the supported film 10, coming into contact with the water-based slurry, with respect to the water is taken asθ1 , and a contact angle of a surface of the side tape 12, coming into contact with the water-based slurry, with respect to the water is taken asθ2 . In this case, the supported film 10 and the side tape 12 (i.e., a hydrophobic supported film and a hydrophilic side tape), which satisfy a relationship ofθ1 >θ2 , are used.
