PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer case for thin plate product, having a simple structure, eliminating complicated packaging operation, preventing a thin plate product from slipping down, and maintaining a good appearance to be required. SOLUTION: The outer case for thin plate product comprises a transparent case body 1, a fixing plate 4, and a protrusion 6. The transparent case body 1 has a protruded product storage 2 and other edge parts 1b, 1c, 1d except one edge 1a, which are bent and processed to form a fitting recessed part 3. The fixing plate 4 has a structure in which an edge from the edge side 1a is inserted into the folded recessed part 3 of the transparent case body 1 so as to slidably hold the edge and the opening 2a of the protruded product storage 2 is sealed and integrally formed with the case body 1. The protrusion 6 having a taper is disposed on the inner peripheral surface of the opening 2a of the protruded product storage 2 and abuts the outer periphery of the thin plate product 5 to be stored, thus locking the thin plate product 5 into the protruded product storage 2. |
