PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealable commodity housing bag which makes it possible to increase the amount of commodities to be housed by not partly but wholly enlarging the volume of a sealable housing body at the time of housing commodities, even though the bag is flatly formed in low volume when not in use, and which is equipped with the convenience of being able to be placed upstanding, when commodities are housed, on side edges at two locations respectively provided with pleated parts. SOLUTION: The sealable commodity housing bag is one that is made of plastic film shaped in a rectangular form, which has a sealable housing body 1 whose opposing both side ends 2, 3 are provided with pleated portions 2a, 3a for setting a width, with both the pleated portions 2a, 3a being folded inside in two capable of setting a width, while both the folded-in pleated portions 2a, 3a are width-spread when commodities are housed therein, thereby constituting the volume of the housing body 1 in such a way that it can be wholly enlarged, whereas an opening part 4 is provided at one of the four side ends of the housing body 1, with the opening part 4 being constituted openable by tight-closing fasteners 5a, 5b.
