PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block a temperature elevation of the surface of an exhaust hole group area of the rear case of a plasma display. SOLUTION: In the plasma display, in which a circuit board 6, an AC/DC adapter 8 and a cooling fan 7 are housed in a rear case 5 on the back side of a plasma display panel 1, the rear case 5 is formed from metal sheets, exhaust hole groups 54 are opened on the upper surface side and intake hole groups 53 are opened on the lower part. Then, the cooling fan 7 is positioned while facing the exhaust hole groups 54 and on the surface of the rear case 5, flocking is applied at least onto the area of the exhaust hole groups 54 by flocky working. Thus, heat conductivity on the surface of the area of the exhaust hole groups 54 is lowered.
