ELECTRONIC COMMERCE SYSTEM HAVING ORDERER AUTHENTICATION FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrate a series of jobs related to network shopping by realizing the personal identification of an orderer (purchaser) by using a communication terminal owned by the orderer. SOLUTION: An electronic commerce server enables the orderer to order the purchase of a commodity by accessing a virtual store existing on a network from a communication terminal used by the orderer and to receive the purchase-objective commodity at an agency except for his/her own residence. The electronic commerce server is provided with a receiving means for receiving ordering information of the purchase-objective commodity and information for designating the agency where the orderer desires to receive the purchase-objective commodity which are given respectively via the communication terminal used by the orderer; an issuing means for issuing unique identification information for every orderer and for every unit of the purchase- objective commodity based on the ordering information; and a confirming means for confirming the identification information received by the communication terminal used by the orderer through the agency. The issuing means has a generation means for generating the unique identification information for each orderer and by the unit of the purchase-objective commodity with a one-way function based on the ordering information received from the virtual store.
