PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement system which is not a seller-oriented system as in the conventional manner, can protect a buyer and can be safe and inexpensive, and can be easily realized. SOLUTION: This settlement system 1 is constructed as a system comprising a user information database 2 including individual financial institution account information, on-line banking systems 3 and an auction virtual account 4 (hereafter virtual account 4). The auction virtual account 4 takes on payment transfer of a successful bidder through an on-line banking system 3 with respect to money transaction after establishing a successful bidding, and performs the payment transfer to the financial institution account of an exhibitor from the auction virtual account 4 through the on-line banking system 3 after the successful bidder confirms merchandise. |
