PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder-type linear synchronous motor, which can use a linear resolver in order to detect a position of a needle, without increasing the dimension in the axial line direction of the motor. SOLUTION: A magnetic flux change generating part 53 of the linear resolver 37 is arranged in parallel with a rod member 61 which constitutes a linear movement member, and fixed to a direct-acting shaft 15 via a plate member 16, so as to move together with the rod member 61 within a moving range of the rod member 61. A detection coil unit 41 of the linear resolver 37 is turned into a fixed state, together with a stator 31. |
