PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring core and its manufacturing method, which has a high productivity and high dimensional precision. SOLUTION: The ring core 10 having a gap 11 provided in a part of an annular core comprises many stamped core pieces 12 having the same shape. The core pieces 12 are laminated and upper and lower core pieces 12 are bonded with one or more of a rugged caulking zone 13, adhesives and welding. A band plate-like silicon steel sheets 40 is stamped to punch annular core pieces 34 one after another, and the pieces 34 are laminated and fixed to manufacture the ring core.
