PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display with high contrast without erroneous lighting and flicker, by uniformly resetting the plasma display panel, having a protection film protecting a dielectric substance layer from discharge, with low priming voltage. SOLUTION: The impurity metal ion density of a protection film of the plasma display panel, after passing through an aging process, is 400 ppm or less, and the protection film is formed so as to contain not less than 3 hydrogen atoms against total number of atoms of 100. |
