The saddle for a motorcycle or similar has an outer cover (3) filled with a supple and flexible material such as a gel, and a vertical adjuster (20) inside it. The adjuster comprises a fixed frame and a lengthwise arm (40) with ends (42, 44) that can be moved relative to the frame. One end of the arm is able to move lengthwise in oblique slideways; the other is connected to a pusher (50) actuated by a screw mechanism (52) which adjusts its vertical position. A variant of the design has a rack and crossing levers.
