PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for allowing the owner of an IC card to easily view information recorded on an IC card, and for making a third person other than the owner extremely difficult to view the information recorded on the IC card. SOLUTION: Information related with the fingerprints of the owner of an IC card 2 and information related with his or her privacy are recorded on the IC card 2, and the information related with the fingerprints of the owner is inputted. The fingerprint picture data are inputted from a fingerprint sensor part 6 of a display device 1. When it is judged that the inputted information related with the fingerprints of the owner is matched with the fingerprint picture data by a fingerprint matching part 7, a prescribed information, for example, the information related with the privacy of the owner of the IC card 2 can be inputted and displayed at a display unit 4. When it is judged that the inputted information related with the fingerprints of the owner is not matched with the fingerprint picture data, the prescribed information such as the information related with the privacy of the owner of the IC card 2 can be prevented from being displayed at the display unit 4. |
