PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication terminal equipment, with which it can be judged whether an option board is valid or not. SOLUTION: When the power source of a compound machine 1 is turned on, it is judged whether a common complying machine name code exists or not between the multifunction machine 1 and a printer controller board 120 and between the printer controller board 120 and an NIC board 130. When the common complying machine name code does not exist between the multifunction machine 1 and the printer controller board 120 or between the printer controller board 120 and the NIC board 130, such a state is displayed on a display 70. Thus, it is clearly displayed which option board causes operational disability. Therefore, it can be judged whether the option board is valid or not. |
