PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide-area power supply and transaction method which can reduce the electric rate and balance the quantity of power generation by power undertakers and the quantity of consumption by obviating the necessity of power undertakers having excessive generation facilities. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a power demand monitor center which always monitors the supply power supplied from each power undertaker stated above and the power consumption in each power receiving facility, between a plurality of power undertakers and the plural power receiving facilities of a plurality of customers which are supplied with power from each power undertaker stated above, and each power undertaker stated above classifies each power receiving facility of each customer started above into a plurality of groups under a certain condition. The above power demand monitor center supplies and transacts surplus power to the upper limit value of each from other customer within a group in question, or the customer in other group in case that there is a fear of the power consumption of the power receiving facility of some customer within some group getting over a preset upper limit value, thus it balances the supply and demand as a whole. |
