PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an input/output device and a process control system having the input and output device capable of improving the generality and reusing property of a control logic. SOLUTION: This input/output device for distributing input/output data to be transmitted through input/output modules to control logics for dealing with the data is provided with a label defining means for defining variables to be dealt with by the control logics with label names, input/output modules arranged only in the number of input and output points for inputting and outputting the input/output data, and a corresponding table in which mounting positions for specifying the input/output modules are made correspond to the label names. The data inputted and outputted from the input/output modules are connected to the corresponding control logics according to the corresponding table.
