PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the surface temperature of a rotating roll is not controlled to desired temperature because infrared amount detected inside an infrared temperature sensor is reduced when a window for observing infrared amount on the surface of the infrared temperature sensor is soiled by dust or toner or the like as to a non-contact temperature detecting system using the infrared temperature sensor or the like. SOLUTION: By covering the infrared temperature sensor or the like with a cover and making pressure inside the cover positive, the dust and the toner are prevented from adhering to the window for observing the infrared amount.
