PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems, in designing and operating of a system in which solar energy generation and a storage battery are combined, there being no technology which precisely and generally forecasts and computes the amount of energy generation per hour of a day where the amount of solar energy generation is high in a year, or forecasts the amount of solar energy generation by hour on the following day, and effectively utilizes the storage battery to the limit of the determined storage battery capacity. SOLUTION: This method comprises procedures where (1) the amount of solar energy generation per hour is obtained by precise and exact simulation computation using the solar storage battery characteristics, based on the amount of solar radiation in which standard deviation (σ) is added to the amount of one-day averaged horizontal solar radiation per month to determine the storage battery capacity in the amount of energy generation (one day) in the maximum month; (2) Utility of the storage battery to the limit of the capacity, the amount of solar energy generation on the following day, is forecasted to use difference between the storage battery capacity and the amount of energy generation for charging in the midnight/discharging in the daytime; and (3) advantages for customer is improved using the system, in which the amount of power used in the daytime is provided by solar energy generation initially, and the remainder is provided by storage battery power charged during night time.
