PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller in which the lifetime is enhanced by eliminating unbalance of durability of switching elements due to unbalance of operation between a PAM circuit and a PWM circuit. SOLUTION: Lifetime of the motor controller is enhanced by controlling a converter circuit 2 and an inverter circuit 3 based on the values of converter power loss and inverter power loss such that the values of the motor controller integrated from the start of use thereof, i.e., the integrated losses of a converter and an inverter, are balanced thereby balancing the durability of switching elements in the converter circuit and the inverter circuit. |
