PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector for a flat cable, having a small number of components and a compact structure. SOLUTION: This waterproof connector is equipped with a case body 3 with an open upper part and a cover body 4 mounted by covering the upper part. The case body 3 is provided with a waterproof material disposing part 11 where a waterproof material 26 is disposed annularly in its peripheral direction, and also the cover body 4 is opposingly provided with a waterproof material disposing part 22 where the waterproof material 26 is disposed annularly in its peripheral direction. A positioning boss 12 to position and hold exposed conductors 1a, 2a of flat cables 1, 2 to be mutually connected in an overlapped state is provided in the inside region of the annularly disposed waterproof material 26. An energizing spring 24 to press the conductors 1a, 2a kept in the overlapped state is provided.
