PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an OFDM receiver, which is capable of restraining adverse effect caused by changes in the level of a pilot sub-carrier, so as to realize right mapping, even if the pilot sub-carrier fluctuates in level. SOLUTION: An average value, which is obtained by averaging a threshold estimated from the pilot sub-carrier of a current symbol and another threshold used for mapping the preceding symbol, is used as a threshold for mapping the symbol obtained by making OFDM signals undergo a Fourier transformation.
