PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a language practice equipment with which even a young child such as a nursery school child, an infant, or a lower grade primary school child can practice and learn a language with interest and pleasure. SOLUTION: Picture information and character information describing the scene shown in the picture information is simultaneously displayed on a display means. A specific part in the character information is translated into voice information in another language to be outputted from a voice output means and, at the same time, the specific part in the character information is highlightingly displayed on the display means.
