<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pick guard for guitar which can give a pick made to sideslip on the pick guard surface an adequate resistance feel. SOLUTION: The pick guard is formed by laminating an upper layer section 54 formed of a leather which has a leather surface known as a grain surface at its top end and is subjected to tanning on a lower layer section 52 which is formed of a plastic plate. On the leather surface which forms the upper layer section 54 of the pick guard and has the soft leather surface known as a grain surface having fine ruggedness and natural feeling a the top end, the tip of the pick is made to sideslip with the adequate resistance feel.</p> |
