PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone terminal that can accurately calculate a replacement period of a battery, so as to appropriately replace the battery. SOLUTION: A WLL (wireless local terminal) 1 comprises a communication section 10, a CPU 11, a nonvolatile memory 12, a battery 13 such as a nickel cadmium(Ni-Cd) battery or a nickel hydrogen (Ni-MH) battery, and a power supply section 14 that extracts a required voltage from a main power supply or the battery 13 and supplies the voltage to each section. The CPU 11 controls the function in each section of the WLL terminal 1, discriminates a charging state of the battery 13, measures a consecutive time (required time), when the WLL terminal 1 is in continuous operation, calculates the power capacity of the battery 13, calculates the time change in the power capacity of the battery 13 and calculates the replacement period of the battery 13, on the basis of the time change in the power capacity, a limit of the power capacity set as the replacement period of the battery 13, and a correction value of a kind of the battery 13 and the operating environment. |
