PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control output voltage with high precision. SOLUTION: This high-voltage power supply unit 10 interrupts voltage supplied to the primary winding 18A of a boosting transformer 18 from a DC power supply 12 by switching a switching device 24. The ON duration of the switching device 24 at that time is set based on output voltage Vout. The timing for turning on the switching device is decided by comparing the terminal voltage VO of the primary winding detected by a voltage detector 30 with reference voltage. As a result, the switching device can be turned on at a preset fixed timing and output voltage can be monotonously increased based on the ON duration of the switching device, thereby controlling output voltage with high precision. |
