PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device unloading method capable of unloading devices accurately, a device transferring method using the same, a device arrangement method, and a method of manufacturing an image display unit. SOLUTION: A device 3 arranged on a board 1 is unloaded on an attracting member 4 through a device unloading method. The attracting member 4 is equipped with an attraction hole fitted to the device 3 and formed on its main surface, and a suction hole 7 which is bored in the base of the attraction hole and extends in the direction of the thickness of the attracting member 4. Liquid 5 is provided on the base of the attraction hole so as to cover the suction hole 7, the board 1 and the attracting member 4 are arranged so as to make the base of the attraction hole confront the device 3, the liquid 5 is brought into contact with the main surface of the device 3, the liquid 5 kept in contact with the device 3 is sucked out from the one opening of the suction hole 7 opposite to its other opening provided on the base of the attraction hole and removed, and furthermore the device 3 is attracted and held at the attraction hole by suction. |
