PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce restrictions in cosmetic design, and at the same time, reduce cost without generating both of deflection in a built-in printed-wiring board and deficiency in strength at a hinge section. SOLUTION: The structure of portable-type folding electronic equipment where upper- and lower-side sections 40 and 50 are folded into two, and an LCD is provided at the upper-side section is equipped with cases 11, 14, 19, and 25 made of resin, and an LCD frame 16 that is incorporated into the case at the upper-side section, put an LCD 15, and is formed by a stiff material, so that an entire printed-wiring board 18 is covered. When connecting the cylinder section of upper-side hinge sections 12, 13, 20, and 21 at the upper-side section to the cylinder section of lower-side hinge sections 28, 29, and 30 by inserting a rod-like hinge unit 22, the hinge section puts an inside reinforcement section 17 of the LCD frame formed by the stiff material into the space of the cylinder section at the upper-side hinge section.
