PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a crimp terminal capable of improving both electrical and mechanical connecting performance with a covered wire. SOLUTION: In a crimp terminal 31 wherein a plurality of conductor lock grooves 41, 42, 43 are extended in the crossing direction to the axis of an electric wire conductor 37b on the inner surface of at least a bottom plate part 35a which is in contact with the conductor 37b, the grooves 41, 42, 43 are constructed to have different groove depths so that the biting depths of the groove edges to the conductor 37b differ respectively.
