PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straight pendant type deflection yoke of which, a magnetic piece is enabled to move close to the surface of a tube at a neck part, and enabled to make the correction volume of misconvergence at left and right end side of an horizontal axis of an image surface of the cathode ray tube large. SOLUTION: For the deflection yoke 1, having a correction member for convergence correction at a neck part 6 of the straight pendant type deflection yoke main body, the correction member comprises a magnetic piece 10 for convergence correction, a magnetic piece holding member 9, and a mounting part 7 mounting the magnetic piece holding member 9 so that the magnetic piece holding member can move in the direction of horizontal deflection axis at the outside and inside of left side part and right side parts of the neck part.
