PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device that has small size vertical and horizontal directions and is small size and of low cost. SOLUTION: In the input device, a sliding member 13 moves, by sliding in the same direction as an operating member 12 in the slide operation of the operating member 12 and makes the movement of each of first and second drive members 16, 17 in a straight line, by changing the engagement position with each of the first and second drive member 16, 17, and operates each of a first and a second detecting member 6, 7 by operating the first and second drive member 16, 17 in the straight line movement. Thereby, the slide member 12 moves, by sliding and the drive members 16, 17 move in a straight line movement, hence making them move rotatingly by forming them in a circular-arc shape, such as the conventional interlocking member, is not necessary. Thereby, the space in the vertical direction can be made small and an input device capable of making small size in the vertical direction is provided. |
