PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cutout operating tool by which the operation of a cutout provided on the side face of a transformer can be done easily and safely utilizing an lifting means. SOLUTION: A screw shaft 12 is provided at the top end of an insulating operating rod 7 extended in the same direction. A stopper 15 that is pushed against the base end of the fuse-link 14 of the cutout 3 is provided at the top end of the screw shaft 12. A nut 16 is screwed rotatably on the outer circumference of the screw shaft 12, and plural pieces of insertion pawls 18 that are inserted in the plural pawl holes 17 provided on the fuse-link 14 are provided on the nut 16 crossing over the side of the stopper 15.
