PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head having such a coil that the space factor of the coil can be significantly improved and that the process for manufacturing the coil is simpler and easier, compared to the process of forming thin films. SOLUTION: The magnetic head has a coil produced by tightly winding a conductive foil in a plurality of turns, interposing an ultrathin insulating material and an ultrathin adhesive by every turn.
