PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheets processor capable of constantly and stably performing storage of paper sheets inside of it. SOLUTION: A stacker 5 is a horizontal type to store paper money MDs by arranging them in the crossing direction in the perpendicular direction of an installation surface (normally horizontal or approximately horizontal) of the paper sheets processor 1. When the paper money MDs placed in a money receiving/dispensing port 2 are stored in the stacker 5, the head paper money MD stored in the stacker 5 is forcibly saved, a space capable of storing the paper money MDs is formed in the stacker 5, the paper money MDs are transmitted and stored in the formed space. Thus, storage of the paper money MDs in the stacker 5 and feeding after that are performed by using a pick roller 8.
