PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assign an IRQ that a user specifies to an interrupt line of each PCI device of a computer device operating in ACPI mode. SOLUTION: In the BIOS of the computer device, menu addition 502 for setting and storing IRQs for respective PCI interrupt lines and routine addition 503 for uniquely defining the set IRQs on IRQ mask bits are newly provided. Consequently, IRQ interrupt allocation to the respective interruption lines by an OS can be controlled by the BIOS. The IRQ allocation to the respective interrupt lines can be brought under BIOS control even in ACPI mode, so malfunction and a decrease in performance which are possibly caused when PCI devices having high IRQ occupation rates share an IRQ can be prevented and a specific IRQ can be reserved for an ISA device.
