PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera with an enhanced operability where the need for ejecting and inserting operations of a recording medium is eliminated at a narrow space and a place in which other members exist with proximity. SOLUTION: In the digital camera including a recording medium storing section for inserting recording medium to record image data; and a cover member for being opened/closed with respect to the recording medium storing section, in which the top of the recording medium is depressed and inserted in the recording medium storing section to lock the recording medium, a releasing member placed in the vicinity of the recording medium storing section is depressed to release the locked recording medium and the recording medium is projected from the recording medium storing section by a prescribed amount, the recording medium is depressed attended with closing operation of the cover member, the depressed recording medium is released attended with the opening operation of the cover member and the release member is depressed to project the recording medium. |
