SOLUTION: This electrolyte pouring device 10 has an electrolyte retention chamber 31 opened to an upper end opening 11a of a funnel body, an air passage 25 separated from the electrolyte retention chamber, having an upper end opened to the upper end opening of the funnel body and a lower end communicating with a pouring port, a pouring valve 32 opening and closing a passage between the electrolyte retention chamber and the pouring port, and an intake valve 33 opening and closing a passage between the upper end of the air passage and the upper end opening, in the cylindrical funnel body having opened upper and lower ends and a lower end opening 12 formed in the pouring port fit to an upper end opening 3 of a battery can 2, and the pouring valve normally blocks a passage between the electrolyte retention chamber and the pouring port, and opens the passage between the electrolyte retention chamber and the pouring port when the electrolyte retention chamber is pressed from the upper end in a state that an electrolyte is present in the electrolyte retention chamber, and the intake valve normally blocks the upper end of the air passage, and opens the upper end of the air passage when the pressure of the electrolyte retention chamber is reduced.
