PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately make a railway ticket to be vended and a user (purchaser) correspond to each other. SOLUTION: In an automatic ticket vending machine which vends the railway ticket corresponding to a selected account button when cash for an amount satisfying the amount of the selected account button is fed to the main body of the automatic ticket vending machine, a first detection means detecting the user is provided in front of the customer service panel of the main body of the automatic ticket vending machine and along the surface of the customer service panel.
